Welcome to the official online home of the Harrison County Bureau Of Emergency Services.  We are located in the town of Nutter Fort, among the rolling hills of wild, wonderful West Virginia.  The pictures displayed on this page are of our Communications Room, which is the heart of the Public Safety system for Harrison and Taylor Counties.  It is where we answer 9-1-1 and other emergency phone lines, and dispatch our member fire departments, police departments, and EMS agencies. 

Our website will introduce you to the dedicated personnel who keep the system operational.  It will also provide a glimpse of what it takes to maintain an Enhanced 9-1-1 facility.  Given the seriousness of the work involved, and the commitment to excellence that our employees demonstrate each day, training courses and organized events such as our yearly Awards Banquet and the Fire, EMS, and Law Enforcement Training Weekend are important ways of promoting unity.  They also serve to reward those who give their all to the ideals of Public Safety Communications.
