This is a combination classroom and practical skills training
involving emergency vehicle operations. Safety, legal aspects,
inspection, and driver responsibilities are covered. Both written
and practical examinations are administered. This class meets WV
State Fire Commission and State EMS initial driver training
requirements/recommendations. This course is designed to meet DOT
and NFPA standards. Students must bring their own apparatus if they
wish to take driving part in the own equipment. Prerequisites: Must have proof of valid WV operator license or other state driver license. Must be 18 years of age or older. 16 hours. Saturday and Sunday. |
